What if the very thing you’ve been afraid to say… is the key to your power?

In this deeply activating solo episode, Nicole Mixdorf guides you into the truth of who you really are—and why your voice matters now more than ever.

If you’ve ever felt like you had to stay quiet, play small, or dim your light to feel safe… this episode is your permission slip to rise.

Nicole shares:

  • Why speaking your truth makes you magnetic
  • How childhood wounds and “visibility fears” keep you stuck
  • The connection between people-pleasing and losing your voice
  • Why you don’t need to be “fully healed” to share your story
  • How your pain becomes your purpose—and your message becomes medicine
  • Simple practices to reconnect with your truth (even if you feel lost)

This is more than a conversation—it’s an activation.

Because your story isn’t random.
Your voice isn’t accidental.
And your truth? It’s exactly what someone else needs to hear.

It’s time to stop shrinking… and start sharing.

Welcome to Heal with Nicole Mixdorf. Let the journey begin. Welcome back, beautiful soul. I'm your host, Nicole Mixdorf. I'm an Akashic Light Healer and intuitive guide. And we are diving into the topic of speaking your truth, of standing in your authority, of being completely authentic to who you are. Because when you do that, you truly become magnetic. And who doesn't want to be a little more magnetic in their life, right? So speaking your truth is really about coming out of your comfort zone. You know, we all came into this life with a very specific purpose and a very specific mission that our soul wanted us to really experience and fulfill. And as part of that, we need to get clear with ourselves about what we stand for, about what our own values are, about what our own real truth is. What is it that is so important that it just sits within your heart and it needs to be shared? Because every single one of us has a powerful truth that exists within us that is meant to be shared powerfully and openly with a loud voice, not a quiet whisper. You see, I truly believe that every single soul came into this life with different gifts, different passions, and a different truth. And it's really up to each and every one of us to take the time to do the inner work and the inner reflection so that you can get clear on what you really stand for, on the impact that you came here to make, on the change that you came here to offer and how you can be of service to humanity. Because at the end of the day, every single one of our soul purposes is connected to being of service. How can we use our greatest gifts, our greatest passions to help others? When you figure that out, then you know what direction to point your life toward. And you'll know when something is aligned, it'll just feel right. Or when something isn't aligned, it just doesn't feel right. Or it might feel very difficult or very hard. Sometimes when we find ourselves in a difficult situation where we're facing one roadblock after the next roadblock after the next roadblock, and everything just feels hard, like you're pushing a boulder up a mountain. It's kind of a sign that perhaps you're not on the right path. Perhaps there is an easier route for you. And we sometimes don't listen to that. We just keep pushing, pushing, and pushing and pushing until it leads us to burnout and breakdown when there's another way. There's another way. There's always another way. So it's time to find our way. What is the path that our soul wants to lead us down? And what is the message that we really came here to share with the world about it? Because there is a powerful truth that exists within you. We just suppress it so often. When I do the Akashic healing journeys that I work with my clients on, I often see visibility wounds showing up in the throat area, in that throat chakra, where that throat chakra has been closed down out of fear of being heard, out of fear of being seen. And sometimes those are connected to wounds from our childhood where maybe we were too loud. Maybe we were told that we were too loud. Maybe we were told that we were too much. Maybe we were told to be quiet. Maybe we had to be silent, or maybe we tried to make ourselves invisible because we needed to protect ourselves. Because if we were big or we were loud or we were visible, that could mean pain and it could mean abuse or something very difficult happening to us. And so in those situations, we learned to shrink ourselves down. We learned to suppress our voice, we learned to suppress our truth because we were trying to accommodate someone else's needs versus our own. If you were raised in a situation that maybe was explosive, or you had a parent or a main figure in your life that wasn't a safe person, or that really had differing opinions or very strong opinions, you may have learned that yours don't matter, that what you think, what you feel isn't important because you have to put the needs of others first. And it can create a pattern that shows up in your life of people pleasing, of always doing something for everyone else's needs rather than connecting into your own truth about what you need, about what you want, about what you desire, because you were taught that your desires don't matter. You were taught to shrink, to become small, to become unseen, to become unheard. Well, this is your permission slip to step back into your truth. No matter what has happened in your life, you have a powerful story that needs to be told. And you may think that you already know what your powerful story is. You may have no idea what it is. You may think, I don't even have anything that interesting to share. And yet you do. The things that you've experienced in your life are a blueprint for someone else who's going through it now. Anything that you have overcome is someone else's survival guide. And if you keep that wisdom, that truth to yourself, you're denying someone else the opportunity to heal faster because there is medicine that lives inside of you. And that medicine, that wisdom, that truth, that knowing is ready to come out of you. It's time for you to rise into your knowing, into your truth, into your authentic voice, where you give yourself permission to be seen, to be heard, to take up space, to put your needs first, to believe that your desires matter, that you matter, that you're worthy, that everything about you is important, that you're lovable. So when you give yourself permission to be vulnerable and to share the truth of your own heart, of the difficulty, of the pain, of whatever hardship that you went through and what you learned from that, and what you're continuing to learn from it, that's magic, my friend. That's medicine that people need to hear and know and learn from you. And you don't have to have it all figured out to share. That's something that a lot of people get mixed up. You feel like I need to be completely on the other side of this issue before anyone is willing to listen to me. And that's not true. Sometimes, yes, we are able to share and teach from a place of mastery because we've already walked that path and we've come out to the other side of it. But even more powerful than that is the person brave enough to rise up and say, I'm I've gone through these difficult things in my life and I'm still working through it. Here's what I've figured out so far. And here's where I'm still working to get more guidance, get more clarity, get more healing around this part. I may not be all the way there yet, but I'm taking steps forward. I'm making progress and I'm proud of myself for doing that. That is powerful messaging that people want to hear in a world that's just full of noise. So many things that are out on the internet, so many things on social media, people vying for our attention, sharing different sound bites about different things that don't even matter. The thing that comes across, especially with AI now, is that there's a lot of fake information out there. There's a lot of people that aren't walking their truth. There's a lot of people sharing things that they have not mastered, or they're not sharing it authentically about where they're at on their journey to get there. People are yearning for connection. People are yearning for greater authenticity. They want to know that you're a real person who falls down sometimes and trips and screws things up and makes mistakes. Nobody is looking for a polished person. When you go on Instagram, you see the highlights real of what someone's life looks like. But oftentimes they're not showing you the hard times. They're not showing you those moments where they felt broken, or those moments where somebody hurt their feelings, or those moments where they don't know how to move forward. They're only showing the positive side of things. And while that's great, and while that can provide inspiration, there is greater power and authority that comes from sharing your mess. Because the mess becomes the message. The pain becomes the purpose. You can stumble and fall and screw up. And if you laugh at yourself, if you pull yourself up and keep going and tell people what you learned, that I'm not going to trip over that thing again. That's important. That's an important message. If you're out there listening and you have been wanting to share something from your heart and you've been scared, I want you to know that you don't need to be scared anymore. This is your moment to rise. This is your moment to be brave. This is your moment to really tap into the truth of your soul, to share the wisdom within you that is wanting to be shared, that is wanting to be liberated out of you. Don't die with your magic and music inside of you. It is meant to be shared. So, how do we connect more deeply with our truth? Because if you already know what it is, that's easy. But if you don't know what it is, how do you connect to that truth? A big part of that is spending some time in solitude. Spend some quiet time just with yourself. No phones, no social media, no screens of any kind. Just sit quietly. You can go outside and sit in nature and just observe nature. You can close your eyes and just focus on your breathing. You can do some meditation. The reason why meditation is such a powerful practice is that it helps us quiet down the noise of the mind and shift from the ego in the mind down into the heart center where the truth of our soul resides. All the information and wisdom that you've ever wanted already exists within you. It's just a matter of quieting down the mind to be able to feel it and hear it. That's it. So as you start spending a little bit more quiet, reflective time, you can prompt yourself with different questions. What is important to me? What is a truth that I've been ignoring that I'm ready to face right now? What is something that I have to share that my audience needs to hear right now? That the people around me would benefit from knowing what is my truth? You can ask yourself those questions daily in a meditation and where you ask the question, breathe it into your heart, and exhale, let it go. But then tomorrow, ask it again, and the next day, ask it again, and the day after that, ask it again. And that's one of the most powerful, quickest ways to start retrieving wisdom and knowing from your own soul. Ask yourself the question, and in a matter of days, you will start getting inspired with the answers. I promise you. You can also journal on those questions, turn them into journal prompts. Close your eyes, take a few clearing breaths, and write the question at the top and just start to write. Don't think about what you're writing, just write until you fill up the page. Don't edit anything, don't try to change anything. Just write. You'll be amazed what pours out of you. And if you put the intention that it's something that you want to be able to share with others, then that's the information that's going to come forth from you. Because when you rise up and when you stand up for yourself, when you believe in yourself, when you speak your truth, it connects you more deeply to soul-aligned people that are ready to receive your message. Because there are all kinds of people in this world, and there are people who are meant to connect to your specific unique frequency, your codes. They're ready to receive them. So don't deny that from others. Share, share from your heart, share openly. Share. That could be sharing at work. It could be sharing more with your partner. It could be sharing with your children. It could be sharing on social media. But share your truth. We keep so much to ourselves and it's not serving anyone. This is not a time for us to play small. This is a time where we are all supposed to rise. When there's chaos and madness happening in the world around us, it's time to go within. That's where we find our truth. And I'll tell you, my truth right now is that it doesn't matter what's happening in the world around me. That does not affect who I am, how I get to show up and how I feel every single day and what I get to do. I create my own reality. I do. And I can have compassion for what's happening to other people around the world. I can support them. I can take action. I can be aware of things, but I can also release it from my mind. And I recognize there is a certain amount of privilege that comes with my ability to do that, that a lot of other people don't have. And if you have that privilege too, that you can put the craziness and the madness of the world to the side and focus on your own life, then be grateful for that blessing every single day. Because there are people that are fighting for their lives right now in this very moment. And so I honor all of those people. Send love and blessings to those people. May they see better days. May they see better days. Yes. But I do not allow the outside world to affect how I get to live my life, how I get to feel. My truth, part of my truth, is just standing up and telling you that it doesn't matter what has happened to you in your life. It doesn't matter the hardships that you've been through. It doesn't matter the mistakes that you've made up until now, because this moment, this breath that you're taking right now, that is an opportunity to start again. Every breath is the opportunity to start over. Every single breath. So whatever has happened up until this moment, just take that as a learning experience. What is my soul wanting me to gain from that? How can I make myself better for having gone through all of that? What are the lessons? What are the gems of wisdom that I can take out of that? What is my truth? How can I share now that powerful truth with others? That's a big part of my purpose is to share with you everything I've been through, the darkness I've walked through, the fires I've cleansed myself through, and the light that is elevating my vibration. Because if I can do it, so can you. So can you. My life is a walking example of what's possible. Just like yours is. To live your life on purpose, to not allow others to dictate what's possible for you. Because no one knows what's possible for you except you. Only you know what's possible for you. And it's not possible for others. Because those ideas, they weren't put into their heart. They were put into your heart. The ideas that are on your heart, the desires that are in your heart were placed there for a reason. Because you're the one that is meant to achieve them. You are the one that is meant to pursue it. You're the one that is meant to bring it life, not anyone else. So if you have a desire, a dream on your heart, know that it's there because you are meant to figure it out. You are meant to take action on it. You are meant to achieve it and fulfill that. But don't go sharing it with small-minded people who are just going to rip it apart and take you down because those people, they didn't get that vision. God, Goddess, didn't give them that vision. They gave it to you because it's yours. It's not theirs. So it's not possible for them. They can't see it. They can't feel it. They can't know it the way that you know it. So stop doubting yourself. Stop questioning everything. Stop second guessing yourself. Anytime that you're so full of doubt, get out of your mind space. Drop into your heart. One of the fastest ways to do that is place your Your hands over your heart and just breathe in through your nose. Feel into your heart and exhale out your mouth. As you breathe in and out, imagine breathing into your heart. Imagine connecting your heart to your lungs so that as you breathe in, you're filling your heart up with this beautiful light that is coming in through your breath. And as you exhale out, imagine that that light is being spread throughout your entire body. Just breathe in and feel your heart. Exhale, let it go. Connect into your heart. Feel gratitude for even just a moment of something you're grateful for. Connect into that feeling of love. Because when you connect into the feeling of love, you are in your soul's essence in that moment. That's where the truth lives within you. That's when you can connect in to your real answers and know what you're supposed to do, what you're supposed to say, what you're supposed to share. So I'm here today to give you permission to rise, to give you permission to find your voice, to ask yourself what you stand for, what are your values? What's important to you right now? And what is one action you can take toward that? How can you share your truth in a bigger way? And how can you honor when someone else is sharing their truth? Because you can feel it. You can tell when someone is speaking if what they're speaking is their truth or if it's not. You can tell the difference. And when someone is speaking their truth, can you receive their truth? Whether you agree with it or not, doesn't really matter. Can you just allow yourself to receive their truth and know that that's their truth? And that you don't need to judge them for their truth. Because they have their own free will. You have your own free will, you get to make your own choices, they get to make their own choices. We don't need to judge anyone because when we judge people, we're in a state of resistance. And we want to be in the state of allowing. So allow others to have their truth, even if it's different than yours. Even if it's not what you want to hear, if it's true, receive it. Receive it without responding. Receive it without reacting. Receive it without saying anything. And just allow yourself to sit with their truth. Their truth doesn't need to be your truth. But we do need to respect each other when we share our truth, if you can feel that it is a truth. Because it's not always, right? There's a lot of that in the world. So learning how to use your own discernment is really important. Who do you follow? What are the messages that you are allowing in to your consciousness? Are you listening to people who tell truths? Or are you listening to people who tell lies? What messages are you allowing into your energy field? Learn to discern the difference. Learn how to feel into other people's energy so that you can tell when there's a soul alignment with you. That yes, I like what this person says. I resonate with their message. I resonate with their energy. I resonate with their vibration. When I'm around them, yes, it just feels right. It feels right. I can tell they're in their truth. Those are people that you want to listen to. Those are people that you want to interact with, not the people that you feel dissonance with. So just know that. Because as we navigate this crazy terrain outside of us, there's a lot of noise out there. And it's important that you learn how to discern what are the right messages for you to really be listening to for yourself. And how can you contribute your own voice right now? We all need to be standing up and sharing our truth. We all need to be joining together in unity and community. This is a moment of connection, a time when we are being ripped apart. The times of division that happen in the world are the times when we need unity more than ever. So don't let the outside world dictate how you are feeling within your inside world. And don't let people separate you from others. Offer forgiveness. Look for the commonalities. Look for the things that really bring us together as people. Because at the end of the day, we all really want the same things. We want to feel good every day. We want to be healthy. We want to take care of our families. We want to have opportunities for ourselves. That's it. And safety. Those are the basic needs that we have. And it's the same for all of us. We're really all the same. So this is a really great time to connect with women's circles or men's groups, come together in whatever community because we need each other. This is not a moment for isolation. This is a moment for us to come together. And there's a powerful opportunity for you to rise into your truth, to share your voice, to share your message because the world needs you right now. Thanks so much for listening and for being here. I love you and appreciate you so much. And I'm here to see you rise, and I'm here to help you rise on your journey. Until next time.
